Global beer company Carlsberg has launched its “Snap Pack” – a new packaging innovation that will cut plastic pollution.  The technology – which uses recycled glue to hold cans together – is expected to save up to 1,200 tonnes of plastic waste a year – which equates to 60 million plastic bags.

The Snap Packs have launched on a trial basis in the UK and Norway this month, with further rollouts scheduled in 2019.
